Materials Crochet hook: P hook Yarn: This uses 2 shades of Red Heart yarn. Real Teal and Aruba Sea. Gauge: this is not critical. Finished size depends on the hook size you use. Instructions: Use 2 threads together. 1 of each color. Chain 77. Row 1: (1 single crochet, 2 double crochet) in 2nd chain from hook. (This is the first cluster) Skip 2 chains. *(1 single crochet, 2 double crochet) in next chain. (this is cluster 2). Skip 2 chains. Repeat from * to last chain. 1 single crochet in last chain. Turn. 25 clusters. Row 2: Chain 1. (1 single crochet, 2 double crochet) in 2nd chain from hook. (This is the first cluster) Skip 2 chains. *(1 single crochet, 2 double crochet) in next chain. (this is cluster 2). Skip 2 chains. Repeat from * to last chain. 1 single crochet in last chain. Turn. Row 3 to end: Repeat row 2 until length desired. It is not necessary to fasten off. Edging Row 1: chain 1. * 3 single crochet in corner stitch. Space 73 single crochets evenly to next corner. Repeat from * around the afghan. 304 stitches. Edging Row 2: Chain 1. 1 single crochet in each single crochet around. Join with slip stitch to first stitch. Fasten off.
